West Hill is a community school which has always strived for excellence. The team of staff at West Hill has always been talented, dedicated and visionary in its approach to education in this community school.
We have been teaching for over 20 years and have taught at West Hill for most of our careers. West Hill has always been an amazing place to work and we are very proud to be the co-headteachers.
We have taught in all age phases of the primary sector. We love learning about learning and improving our skills as educators. We believe that we are all constantly learning and developing our skills. This ‘growth mindset’ belief is central to all that we do at West Hill.
We were the deputy head teachers and the special needs coordinators in a successful job-share role for six years. In September 2018 we took on the role of co-headteacher at West Hill and it is now our privilege to be leading such an exciting, successful school.

In my spare time I like to spend time running. I run (slowly) through my local park most weeks. I have two daughters and two old guinea pigs! I love going to the cinema and catching up with my family near the coast at the weekend.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family; I have two daughters and a large hilarious dog (Hector the Airedale Terrier). I love being outside; walking, running or gardening. My other hobbies include: Yoga, spinning, reading, cooking and I love going to see live music.
I have always been passionate about working with children and helping them to recognise and achieve their full potential. Even though I have been teaching for over 17 years, each day can still bring something new and different. The challenge of the modern teacher is to engage all pupils creatively and enabling pupils to have opportunities to enrich and stretch their imagination and prospects.
West Hill is the third Wandsworth School I have worked in and I am lucky enough to have worked across all Key stages and have particularly enjoyed the challenges of Year 2 and Year 6 (the key assessment points ). I have led a variety of subjects including art and English across the whole school and focused projects on pupil premium and SEN pupils.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family, we often go for long walks in the countryside and visit museums and science or computing events. Cooking a delicious meal to share and trying out different baking techniques are a few of my favourite hobbies as well as gardening, reading and writing stories and poems. I love singing and having a dance around the kitchen with my children as well as trying to beat my eldest two at a card game of pairs.
