Book Week has been as busy as always, full of activities and lots of reading. We celebrated World Book Day by holding a Bookie Breakfast when parents and children everyone enjoyed some breakfast and a special storytime led by Miss Bates. We then had a special assembly where everyone was invited on to the catwlak to show off their book character costumes. We asked those who dressed up to bring in £1 which was in aid of a very special charity Learn2Love2Read who support our children regularly in their reading. Year 1 also made Australian animal bookmarks which ties in with their current Enquiry topic.
