Dear Families,

We would like to give you an update on our school’s current situation.

As of today we have been advised that there is a family within our school community who has come into contact with someone who has tested positive for the coronavirus. Please note that the person who has tested positive does not attend West Hill.

We would like to assure you that we have informed Public Health England and are following all advice and procedures.

The school will be closed for the majority of pupils from Friday 20th March until further notice.

• The school will be open for specific children from Monday 23rd March. Those families have already been notified.

• We have organised for there to be a ‘deep clean’ of the school.

Please remember you should continue to follow government guidelines and self-isolate for 14 days if a member of your family that you live with shows symptoms of the corona virus.

You should not send pupils to school if they show symptoms of the corona virus.

We will continue to advise you if there are any changes to these circumstances.
