As part of our celebrations for Black HIstory Month, On Wednesday 9th October children are invited to come to school in the traditional dress of their country of origin. If this is difficult then they may come in the colours of their country’s flag.

We would really like the children to experience tasting food from different cultures and ask that you send some traditional food in with your child that morning.

Please remember that this is a nut free school – none of the food is allowed to contain nuts.

You could bring in something savoury or sweet but please ensure that you list the ingredients in case of allergies and explain on what occasion you would usually eat this particular food.

To raise money for our school, there is an optional donation of £1 for children to get their faces painted with their national flag.
