Our Nursery children had a very exciting trip to our local fire station this week which is very close to the school.
The firefighters talked to them about their job, demonstrated coming down the pole and sounding the siren. They were even able to sit in the front of the fire engine and learnt about the instruments that the firefighters use when doing their job. Importantly they also learnt about fire safety.
