The world looks a little bit different right now- but that does not stop us celebrating World Book Day 2021! Read on to find out about the exciting activities that will be going on at West Hill.

Tune in on Thursday 4th of March for an assembly with Miss Bates to find out what World Book Day is and why we celebrate each year. The most important thing to do is to read, share stories and have lots of fun.

Book Character Art competition
Draw your favourite book character
and upload it to teams to be in with
a chance of winning a book token!

Share a bedtime story and wear your pyjamas to
school/online lessons!

Miss Bates will be in her dressing gown and slippers ready to
share some bedtime stories

Share a million stories- Book reviews.
We would love to hear what your
favourite books are. Children will be
using class padlets to share book
reviews.
Check out your classes to see if there
are any books you would like to read.

Take part in the London Book Project
World Book day video

Take a photo of yourself with a
favourite book and email to us. See
your emails for more information on
how to enter.

Share a story corner

£1 Book tokens
World Book Day are still giving out £1 book tokens
for you to exchange for any of these books.
We will be giving these out when school reopens.
They are extending the time on the tokens so you
can use them when shops reopen later in the year.
