This week Year 5 performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Brighter Sounds Concert. Everyone was blown away by the performances of all the children from Wandsworth who were involved. Year 5, Mr Hilliard, Vanessa and the specialist music teachers from Wandsworth Music have been working hard all year for this special concert and to perform at such an iconic location was incredible.

It was lovely to receive the following words from a Year 5 parent:

“I hope this email finds you both in good health and high spirits! I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the fantastic job you did organizing the singing event at Royal Albert Hall. It was an absolute delight to see the kids sing with such passion and energy, and I couldn’t help but smile throughout the entire performance.
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your hard work and dedication in making this event a success. It was clear that the children had put in a lot of practice, and your efforts in helping them prepare did not go unnoticed. And Mr. Hillard, it was so much fun to see you join in on the singing and share in the kids’ joy!”
My daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself, and she hasn’t stopped talking about it even though she was exhausted! She was over the moon to have been a part of it, and we were so proud of her performance. The singing event was an excellent platform for the children to showcase their talents, and we appreciate the opportunity that you provided them.
Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to the children’s education. It is evident that you both truly care about their wellbeing, and we are grateful for all that you do.
