Dear Parents/ Carers,

In September there will be one year 6 class.

To ensure a smooth transition to year 6 during the second half of this term the children in year 5C and year 5W will be taught together as one class of 33.

This half-term the children in year 5 are going to be streamlined into one class. This will enable two class teachers and two teaching assistants to teach the year 5 children as one class.

Ms Wilson and Ms Corsan will team-teach the combined class for all lessons. There will be additional support from 2 teaching assistants. This will provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for all children.

The children have already started to work together as one class and are really enjoying learning together.
